Objeto Sémico. La enseñanza del proyecto como competencia
transversal de la formación profesional de los estudiantes
de diseño y arquitectura.

El
Proyecto se propone investigar la enseñanza de la competencia
proyectual a partir de la experiencia denominada "Objeto
Sémico" que se realiza desde 1992 con los estudiantes del
CBC de la Facultad de Arquitectura Diseño y Urbanismo. Esta
práctica docente se fundamenta en un enfoque transdisciplinario
y en la perspectiva de educación por competencias.
Objeto
Sémico constituye un particular recorte epistemológico que
integra saberes y habilidades habitualmente disociadas en
ámbitos académicos de formación profesional. En el aprendizaje
de lo proyectual el estudiante debe producir un discurso
propio en un lenguaje que generalmente no domina, esto genera
incertidumbres y desalientos.
Quien
puede proyectar puede modificar la realidad, asignar sentido,
presentar la alteridad superadora frente a lo actual. Esto
vale tanto para una comunidad toda, como para un sujeto
individual. Lo proyectual en su dimensión social es indispensable
para que una sociedad construya procesos sustentables con
niveles calificados de competitividad, inclusión e imagine
un futuro mejor.
El Proyecto se propone analizar las fortalezas, dificultades
y potencialidades de la experiencia formativa que se realiza
a través del Objeto Sémico, así como las estrategias cognoscitivas
y formas de saber relativas al conocimiento proyectual que
ponen en acto docentes y estudiantes. Complementariamente,
se avanzará en el planteo de una didáctica de "lo proyectual"
para mejorar la formación profesional en el área del diseño
y la arquitectura. La investigación se llevará a cabo con
un enfoque crítico - interpretativo y abordajes cualitativos
que recuperarán la experiencia y los procesos cognitivos
vividos por los sujetos .
The
Lexemic Object. The teaching of Projective Knowledge Introduction
as a cross-sectional competence for the professional formation
of students of design and architecture.
The
project intends to investigate the teaching of the projective
competence from an experience called "Lexemic Object" that
has been carried out since 1992 with students undertaking
the Common Basic Cycle* at the School of Architecture, Design
and Urban Planning at the University of Buenos Aires. This
teaching practice is based on both a trans-disciplinary
and competence-based education approaches.
"Lexemic
Object" constitutes a particular epistemological trim that
integrates knowledge and abilities that are commonly disconnected
in academic realms of professional formation and development.
In the learning process of projective design, the student
must produce his/her own discourse in a language in which
he/she is not proficient enough; this generates uncertainty
and discouragement.
He /
She who can project, can make a difference, can provide
sense to reality, can present surpassing novelty in face
of the current event of things. This is true for a whole
community as well as for the individual subject. The projective
competence in its social dimension is absolutely necessary
for a society that wishes to lead sustainable processes
with qualified levels of competitiveness and inclusion,
as well as to imagine a better future.
The
project intends to analyze the strengths, difficulties and
potentialities of this formative experience that is being
undertaken through the "Lexemic Object", as well as the
cognitive strategies and ways of knowledge related to the
projective field that teachers and students carry out. As
a complement, the project will go forward and raise a "projective
didactics" that allows to improve professional education
and development in the area of design and architecture.
The project will be implemented through a critical-interpretative
perspective and qualitative approaches. Through interviews,
observation and material analysis, the experience and cognitive
processes undergone by the individuals will be retaken.

is the name given to a one-year course that is mandatory
for all candidates to the degree programs given by the University
of Buenos Aires
